This is our 7th year of helping backyard flock owners add one or more ladies who are fully feathered and ready to be emersed into to their flock. Avoid chick rearing catastrophes, unanticipated roosters and biosecurity blunders. Reserve your flock starting in January or come and/or shop on a sale day.

We’re happy to help with your poultry and coop questions.
Pullets range between $30 and $45 with the proceeds benefiting Haven’s horse program serving 4-H kids.

At HAVEN Meadows Farm, we provide flock owners with a variety of started, ready-to-lay chickens and educational resources.
​
Most chickens start to lay around 4 ½ to 6 months of age, meaning chicks hatched in April won't start to lay until fall. By purchasing started soon-to-be laying hens (pullets) you avoid unintended roosters/drakes, shipping delays and chick-rearing problems, all while supporting a youth program in the process.
Brown, cream, blue-green, chocolate and white egg layers will be available come 2025, with many friendly breeds! It is our practice to vaccinate for Mareks and coccidiosis. We aim for pre-orders to be available online in January.
