Third. Black Star

Black Stars are prolific layers of brown eggs throughout the seasons. They are a sex linked cross, and also referred to as a Black Sex-Link. They can be sexed at hatch with females being all black and males black with a white spot on their head. As hens mature, they vary  in appearance with some having more and others less, "red leakage" on their necks and breast.
