Midnight Majesty Marans are largely black feathered birds though some standouts might have a bit of red peeking though their necks. They also have feathered feet which helps set them apart from similar colored breeds like Black Stars and Black Australops. In addition to their darker colored eggs, some of them also have small speckles .
The Midnight Majesty Marans we've had in our past flock were exceptionlly good foragers and would run through puddles in pursuit of bugs.
Our “Second Flock” hatched between October 27th, 2025 and November 11th, 2025.
