Laying Hen.Sapphire Olive Egger

Sapphire Blue Olive Eggers are more likely to lay sage green eggs though a small number may lay brown eggs.  They are blue as chicks and often have with a white spot on their head though as they age they often loose much of the barring. A few of our past Sapphire Olive Eggers had a faint reddish tint on their neck feathers. As a cross-bred bird, there is a small chance that they will not lay olive-green eggs, 3 of our last set of 120 pullets laid brown eggs.
