Laying Hen.Rhode Island Red

A vigorous,  dual-purpose breed, Rhode Island Reds lay large brown eggs and tend to rule the roost. They are a deep red with some having faint black markings on their neck and tail feathers. They tend to be more assertive and at the top of the pecking order.
