New Hampshires were developed in the 1900's from paler Rhode Island Reds. While initially selected for faster growth we've found them to be more docile then their parent breed. The "black necklace" many has inherited is more notable with their bay-orange colored plumage . New Hampshire lay brown eggs.
These pullets hatched between July 29th, 2025 and August 18th, 2025.
There is greater flexibility for picking up your hens, with three different pricing tiers based on pickup date.
