When pairing French Blue Copper Marans together one may hatch Blue, Black and Splash colored individuals. With Splash the degree of coppering on the cape is diluted and often greatly reduced if present at all. Splash Copper Marans have a soft grey body with darker splashes on feathers of varying degrees.
