Mottled Houdan

Mottled Houdans are a breed hailing from France. They are mottled in appearance and tend to gain more and more white feathers as they molt and age. They have 5 toes and ideally have a beard and muff. They are a bit shorter legged and more round in appearance then Crevecours  and we've found them to be more hardy then their Polish cousins who they share a crest with. They lay white or very pale tinted eggs.
